Before you can enable VoLTE , you must have a compatible phone. You also must have the VoLTE feature enabled on your account. Please Login into your BOOM Online account at myaccount.boom.us to request the feature.
*You may lose any saved Voicemails, please ensure you back them up before switch
For iOS Devices
- Tap Settings
- Tap Cellular
- Tap Cellular Data Options
- Tap Enable LTE
- Tap Voice & Data
You've successfully enabled VoLTE to your iPhone 6 or Higher
To disable VoLTE on your compatible iPhone, simply switch the Voice & Data selection to Data Only.
For Android Devices
To enable or disable VoLTEon your Android phone:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Advanced Calling under WIRELESS NETWORKS.
- Tap Advanced Calling again to turn it On or Off.
If you have an older device like Samsung Galaxy S 5 or Motorola Droid Ultra / Maxx / Mini, follow these steps to turn VoLTE on or off:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap More Networks or Tethering & Networks.
- Tap Mobile Networks.
- Tap the VoLTE Call setting to turn it to On or Off.
Notes:
- If VoLTE Call is set to Off, then VoLTE is disabled.
